Identify the appropriate court’s official marriage service first. Marriage under the 2024 Personal Status Law differs from civil routes; Abu Dhabi provides a civil marriage service for eligible non-resident applicants as well as residents.
Genuine consent, accurate identity records and previous marital status must be clear. Where a former marriage ended through divorce or death, obtain the relevant authentic record and check translation and foreign-document authentication requirements directly with the receiving authority.
Before paying an intermediary, verify the official document list, attendance requirements and certificate process. Valid registration in the UAE is different from recognition abroad; if the certificate will be used elsewhere, check that country’s requirements separately.
